About Source Intelligence

Most publishers are monetizing 5% of their audience and calling it a business model.

Source Intelligence was built on one observable problem: the freemium model creates a structural class of users who are engaged, habitual, and completely unmonetized.

We built an intelligence layer that sits between a publisher’s free-tier players and the brands who need to understand them — converting passive users into a rewarded, consented research panel.

No ads. No dark patterns. No disruption to players who are already paying. Just a third door — for the 90–95% of your audience who would otherwise generate nothing at all.

The OGame pilot proved the model. $470 eCPM. 30% survey completion. Zero premium user complaints. The numbers are not theoretical. They are live, verified, and repeatable.

Founding Principles

The four things we will
never compromise on.

01

User experience is inviolable

We will not implement in a way that degrades a publisher’s product. Every integration is designed to feel like a native gameplay mechanic, not an external tool bolted on.

02

Motivated respondents produce better data

Users who complete surveys to earn Dark Matter or gold they actually want produce significantly more accurate, considered responses than generic panels.

03

Integration must be simple

Publishers shouldn’t need a six-month engineering cycle to access a new revenue stream. We handle the design, the build, and the testing. You review and approve.

04

Shared value or no deal

Every participant — publisher, player, and brand — receives clear, tangible value from every survey completed. Models that extract asymmetrically don’t scale. Ours does.

The Founders

The people behind
Source Intelligence.

Brad Fagan

Co-Founder & CEO, Source Intelligence

Brad Fagan co-founded Source Intelligence with Alex after seeing a pattern in the corporate world: smart people buried in busy work and business models focused on short-term extraction instead of long-term value.

In gaming, he noticed that most publishers concentrated on the top 5% of paying users — while 95% of their audience was treated as a server cost rather than a strategic asset.

Source Intelligence was built to change that.

Brad set out to create a monetization model that strengthens user experience instead of eroding it. When publishers work with Source Intelligence, they’re not just installing a tool — they’re gaining a hands-on partner focused on sustainable revenue and long-term trust.

With a Kiwi’s directness and a strong foundation in German transparency, Brad operates with a simple rule: no inflated numbers, no vague metrics, no smoke and mirrors. The model works when publishers win.

Stop optimising a revenue model that is structurally in decline.
